TGCSA takes to the road to rally accommodation establishments behind Brand South Africa

Global destination competitiveness relies on quality and standards making Star Grading a profoundly powerful marker in the minds of world travel consumers.

With over R50mil spent on hosting international media and tour operators annually; South African Tourism has given top priority to ensuring all establishments that accommodate the millions of foreign visitors are quality assured by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA) as part of a concerted effort to ensure South Africa’s global competitiveness as a tourism destination.

The TGCSA embarked on a national roadshow where it visited every province to recruit more businesses into the fold of graded establishments. Establishments attending the roadshows got first hand insights into how their establishments’ quality contributed toward South Africa's global competitiveness thus making it a quality tourist destination of choice.

Below are links, broken down per province from Flickr with a few photos taken during the TGCSA 2011, Stakeholder Roadshows.
