A note of welcome from TGCSA

A note of welcome from TGCSA

According to a 2016 report by consultant and advisory firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), South Africa’s hotel industry is set for steady growth in the next five years. Distinguishing your tourism accommodation business through the quality assurance grading system provided by Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA) has never been more paramount. Through TGCSA grading, you can position your accommodation business to increase occupancy rates and income.

TGCSA Chief Quality Assurance Officer, Darryl Erasmus puts it simply, “Research that we have conducted in the past clearly indicates that establishments that get graded stand to benefit more than ungraded ones as they are a lot more likely to be profitable due to the owners’ structured approach to doing business.”

It is thus encouraging to see more establishments owned by Historically Disadvantaged Individuals and women proceed to the next level of excellence by getting their stars. TGCSA team welcomes the following:

Blue Mountain Luxury Lodge, situated near the Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga
